A lively atmosphere welcomed the opening of the takjil market at Boom Marina Beach, Banyuwangi, on Saturday (1/3/2025). This event was officially opened by the Regent of Banyuwangi, Ipuk Fiestiandani, and is the result of collaboration with PT. Pelindo Properti Indonesia (PPI) Banyuwangi.

What’s special is that PT. PPI provides free entrance tickets to the Boom Marina Beach tourist area during the month of Ramadan, so that people can hunt for takjil more freely and comfortably.

“This is special, Alhamdulillah PT PPI has freed up entrance tickets so that people can shop for takjil more freely and comfortably at Marina Boom Beach,” said Regent Ipuk in his speech.

This takjil market offers a variety of culinary delights, from contemporary foods to traditional Banyuwangi menus that are mouth-watering. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful beach atmosphere while choosing their favorite iftar dishes.

Regent Ipuk admitted that he was pleased to see the high enthusiasm of the community to shop at the Ramadan takjil market, not only at Boom Marina Beach, but also at all points spread across villages and sub-districts throughout Banyuwangi. He hopes that the existence of this takjil market can be a blessing for traders and provide convenience for the community in finding dishes to break the fast.

In addition, Regent Ipuk also appealed to traders to pay attention to the hygiene of the food they sell. He also appealed to the public to bring their own containers or shopping bags when shopping for takjil. This is done as a step to reduce the use of plastic bags.
