From Surabaya, you’ll drive about 3–4 hours to reach the Mount Bromo area. On the way, you may choose to visit Madakaripura Waterfall, a hidden gem nestled in a lush canyon. This optional stop allows you to explore one of East Java’s most scenic waterfalls (note: the entrance fee and guide cost are not included).

Once you arrive at your hotel or homestay near Bromo, you can check in and relax. The cool mountain air and peaceful surroundings make it a perfect place to unwind before your early morning hike.

Day 2: Mount Bromo Sunrise Tour – Return to Surabaya

At around 3:00 AM, your 4WD jeep waits outside your accommodation, ready to take you to Kingkong Hill or Penanjakan Viewpoint, the best place to watch the sunrise.
