Day 01. Surabaya (airport/hotel) – Cemara Lawang

Bromo Ijen Sukamade tour | This 4 days and 3 nights tour are one of our most complete experiences of East Java. It will bring you to two of the most emblematic and breathe taking scenery: Mount Bromo and the Kawah Ijen with an option to Madakaripura Waterfall.

But also, have the opportunity to discover Sukamade beach, a very remote beach where you can watch turtles nesting.

From the Sea of Sand of the Tender Caldera to the turquoise water and blue Fire of the Ijen Volcanic complex passing through a lost beach where green turtles have chosen to lay their eggs, Ijen Volcano Tours will ensure you live this experience in total security, with nothing to worry about except taking the best pictures ever and will give you a human insight of the life in eastern Java.

We will pick you up at your hotel or at Surabaya (Juanda Airport) airport. We need around 4 hours to get to the village of Cemara Lawang. We overnight in the Bromo area,

Day 02. Mt. Bromo Sunrise Tour And Ijen

You will be woken up at 03.00 o’clock in the morning, and have a cup of coffee or tea before we leave for a short drive – 3 kilometers only – to Pananjakan. For the last 1.5 kilometers, you walk to the highest viewpoint in the area to see the sunrise.

But, of course, whether you are able to see the sunrise depends on the weather conditions. Then we will descend to the Sand Sea to see the crater of mount Bromo. Afterward, we go back to the hotel to have breakfast.

After that, we continue our trip and drive around 4 hours to the Ijen area via Pasir Putih Beach, where we have lunch at a beachside restaurant. Hereafter, we drive for another 3 hours before we arrive at the village Sempol (Ijen area) to pass the night. Before night falls, you have time to explore the surroundings.  There is, among others, a hot spring with sulfur, an area where coffee seedlings are grown, and a waterfall. Or, if you are tired you can spend some leisure time in the hotel.

Day 03. Ijen trekking – Sukamade | Bromo Ijen Sukamade tour

Around 01:00 am, the ijen expedition team will bring you to the parking area of Mount Ijen, around 50 minutes from the hotel. This trip crossed the arabica coffee plantation. After arrival at the parking area, we continued trekking to the Ijen crater it’s needed around 1.5 until 2 hours. trekking to the ijen crater about 3 km ( 2.386m ). enjoying the wonders of blue fire/blue flame and acid lake. After sunrise.

the ijen expedition team will bring you back to the parking area, on the way you can see the beautiful panorama and the sulfur miners. around 1 hour you will arrive at the parking area, here you can drink some coffee or tea after that we continue to drive to Pesanggaran to the protected Sukamade turtle beach, an unspoiled three kilometers of white sandy beaches on the Indian Ocean. While driving, we pass the extensive and famous plantations of East Java and the mountain range of the Meru Betiri National Park.

After we’ve arrived you still have time to visit the  Sukamade beach to see the sunset, where you can witness local people. In the evening you will be guided by a ranger to find sea turtles that come ashore to lay their eggs. A female turtle lays more than one hundred eggs. She usually comes ashore around 19.30 and returns to the sea around midnight. You overnight in a simple guest house in the Meru Betiri National Park.

Day 04. Sukamade – Surabaya | Bromo Ijen Sukamade tour

After breakfast, you can further explore the surroundings of Sukamade. we will continue the trip to  Surabaya. On our way, we will stop at a local restaurant for lunch (not included). and finishes
